About the game
Master Checkers is a two-player board game played on the dark squares, in an Italian Checkers version. You pick an opponent: the computer, someone sitting beside you on the same device, or a player somewhere online.
Pieces travel diagonally and regular ones only go forward. Jump an enemy piece to remove it, and chain jumps in a single move when the board allows. Captures are compulsory, so an open jump has to be taken. Any piece that lands on the far row becomes a king and can then move both ways.
How to play
- Tap a piece, then tap a dark square diagonally ahead to move it.
- To capture, hop over an opponent's piece and land on the empty square directly beyond it.
- If a jump is available to you, you must make it.
- Get a piece to the row furthest from you and it turns into a king, free to move forward or backward.
