About the game
Chess Tactics hands a single king a gun and drops it on a chessboard full of hostile pieces. Clear every enemy in a chamber to move on. Each step, shot and reload costs one turn, so the board moves right after you do.
Enemy pieces show their attack patterns, and reading them before you move is most of the game. Between chambers you unlock weapons and pick upgrades, which changes how the next run plays out. One careless step and the king is gone.
How to play
- Click or tap a highlighted square to move, or use WASD or the arrow keys.
- Click an enemy to aim, then click again or press Space to fire.
- Press R to reload and Shift to dash.
- Every move, shot and reload uses a turn, so check enemy attack patterns first.
